E28A – Investor KITAS
Overview
Investor KITAS is a stay permit for shareholder who wants to stay in Indonesia. Becoming an investor and shareholder of a company in Indonesia ( PT PMA) gives you the right to apply for an Investor KITAS temporary residency (2 years).
This type of KITAS also extendable for another 2 years.

No, if you don’t want to stay in Bali for 1 or 2 years. You can use regular VISA.
If you’re an investor that stated as Director, you’re allowed to work while holding an Investor Kitas.
If an investor is stated as commisioner, you’re not allowed to work, but you still can get the facility of maximum 1 or 2 years stay permit.
To obtain an investor KITAS, you must have a foreign-owned company (PT PMA) in Indonesia and have the shares.
Once the business is set up, you can apply for the investor KITAS.
