Here, you’ll encounter the grand megalithic tombs of the late king of East Sumba, offering a glimpse into the rich heritage and customs of the region. Engage with the friendly locals and soak in the authentic atmosphere of this unique village.

As the day progresses, make your way back to the hotel, with the option to stop at Walakiri Beach for a spectacular sunset experience. Wander along the sandy shores, surrounded by picturesque mangroves, and marvel at the enchanting sight of small trees growing within the water. Here you may see the traditional making process of alcohol and brown sugar by the locals, from the way they collect the materials untilthey are ready to consume. They will share some with you as testers.After that, go to Rende Village, a traditional village
in Sumba, where you can find the big megalithic tombs of the lateking of East Sumba—Rende Village.Get engaged with the locals.

Then go back to the hotel,and if you would like,you can make a stop at Walakiri Beach to enjoy the sunset. You can watch the sunset here while exploring the beach and its beautiful mangroves.
